These terms apply to orders placed through this website. Placing an order means you accept them.
Ordering and quotes
Prices shown are quotes for the quantity and delivery ZIP code you enter, based on the rate in effect at that moment. Heating oil prices change frequently. The price that applies to your order is the one confirmed when you place it, not a price seen earlier in the day. We deliver only to the ZIP codes listed on the service area page, and orders must meet the minimum quantity shown at checkout.
Pricing and volume rates
The per-gallon rate depends on how many gallons you order, and the applicable rate is shown before you confirm. Quantities are estimates of tank capacity; you are charged for the gallons actually delivered, which may be fewer than ordered if your tank fills first.
Payment
Orders are paid on delivery. Card details are submitted through our payment processor and are authorized at the time of ordering; the final amount is captured once delivery is complete. If payment cannot be completed, we may cancel the order.
Delivery
Delivery dates are scheduled by ZIP code and offered at checkout. Deliveries are made between 8 AM and 5 PM and we cannot guarantee a specific time of day. You are responsible for providing safe, unobstructed access to your fill pipe and for the condition and suitability of your tank, piping, and vents. If a delivery cannot be completed safely, or access is blocked, we may reschedule it.
Changes and cancellation
Contact us as early as possible to change or cancel an order. An order already loaded or in transit may not be able to be cancelled. Delivered fuel cannot be returned.
Automatic delivery
If you enroll in automatic delivery, we schedule deliveries for you based on the weather and your expected usage. You can pause or cancel automatic delivery at any time by contacting us.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account password confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
Service availability
We aim to keep this site available and its information accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every price or delivery date shown is free of error. Obvious errors may be corrected before an order is fulfilled.
Liability
Except where the law does not allow it to be limited, our liability arising out of an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version published here at the time you place an order is the version that applies to it.
